Ready to feel good again? 

In-studio training takes place at a comfortable, private home-studio in Springbank, Alberta. Just minutes west of Calgary. All sessions are 50-minutes and you can go solo or do a doubles session with a friend! 

The sessions can include a mixture of pilates and corrective exercise techniques. The amount of each depends on your body’s needs, previous training and abilities, as well as your particular goals and training preferences. All sessions are by appointment only. 

One-on-one Pilates means that all parts of the workout revolve around your individual needs and goals. This is particularly important if you have different pains, imbalances or previous injuries that require specific attention and changes to address these issues, or to avoid aggravating them. In group classes a teacher is required to teach to the majority, and only so many adjustments can be made. Springbank Pilates specializes in the bodies that just aren't suited to a group setting. 


What is Pilates? 

Pilates, created by Joseph Pilates, is a series of very specific, controlled movements, meant to help bring your body back into preferred alignment, improve posture and mobility, strengthen your core effectively and recruit your muscles properly. It is a total body workout that puts special emphasis on all the little muscles that often get missed in a traditional gym setting. You will leave feeling lengthened, more mobile and all around AMAZING! The Reformer is the primary piece of equipment used in this studio, and everyone who tries it falls in love. Seriously. You'll understand when you try it.
